Teaching

Northern Rolling can teach skateboarding in a location of your choice. The instructor will travel to you with all the necessary equipment. The basic requirements for the venues would be a large open space with a flat, hard, smooth surface area such as a school playground or sports hall. The workshops can be held inside or out but weather will be a deciding factor as wet conditions will mean that workshops can not be conducted outside for safety reasons.

It is a requisite that all instructors not only have a great deal of experience but also a genuine love of the sport. As well as this, all instructors are:

  • CRB checked and have first aid training.
  • Safeguarding Children trained.
  • are covered by public liability insurance for up to £5 million.
  • able to take a workshop of up to 20 people at one time.
  • able to provide all safety equipment and skateboards.

The workshop structure is based on the ability of the participants, and will be discussed with you prior to the arranged date. We have a selection of different workshop packages available, all of which are suitable for people with little or no experience.
